Oneota Community Co-op started in 1972 as an informal group of people making trips to Iowa City and Minneapolis to purchase natural foods in bulk. The past several decades have seen the co-op transfer from that original buying club to a co-op owned by over 1,000 members. The store today features a large selection of bulk foods, produce, health and beauty items, packaged foods, a fabulous deli and a gift section. Oneota Community Co-op is committed to operating by co-op principles to offer its members and customers the best possible selection of whole foods.
