Salon Verve is on Bay St near the Elk's Club in Traverse City MI. We use ammonia free organic hair color and perms from Organic Salon Systems. All of our product lines go through tough scrutiny. They must be, all natural and non-toxic with a high percentage of organic ingredients, recyclable packaging, and the company who produces them must have "green" business practices. For example Pangea Organics skin care is from Boulder, Colorado. Their entire facility is wind powered, their floors are recycled plastic bottles, they try to offset their carbon output by 100%, they also use recycled newspaper to make their boxes and infuse them with seeds, so you wont throw the box away, you'll plant it and something will grow. Salon Verve recycles or reuses 85%-95% of our waste, including all hair clippings. We send them to a non-profit in California who make hair mats used to clean up oil spills.
