Through exploring the 5000 year old tradition of brewing loose leaf teas, our organic artisan teas make the experience of drinking tea more fun and interactive. At the Art of Tea, each tea has a beautiful display and a unique story of its own. Hand crafted forms, beautiful flower displays, hand rolled globes, and needle shapes are just a few examples of the time intensive quality that has gone into each tea leaf. Through picking the quality leaves and watching the unique shapes unfold or unfurl, each cup offers an enhanced quality of taste and smell that allows the consumer to feel part of the experience. We live in a society that chases one goal after the next, a daily cup of our organic tea reminds us to slow down and unwind the mind. As our whole organic tea leaves unfurl in your cup the mind begins to relax and enjoy the moments we allow ourselves to take.
Asana House is a Juice Bar and Ashtanga Yoga Center. Montclair’s first organic juice bar yoga lounge has a stylish and comfortable décor and serves organic coffee, a variety of teas, made to order juice combinations, wheat grass, smoothies, soup and healthy snacks. All the juice combinations and smoothies are made from natural ingredients with a home made base such as almond milk or fresh orange juice.
Asana House combines a juice bar and a space for yoga which seem to be a perfect combination. Yoga is one of the oldest forms of physical purification and juicing is one of the best ways to enhance the benefits of this experience for optimal health. The external body is a refection of our internal light. Yoga students can practice Ashtanga yoga with an early morning Mysore program, Monday, Wednesday and Friday or Led Ashtanga on Tuesday and Thursday evenings as well as Saturday mornings. Special events such as music, film, discussion as well as a boutique round out the experience at Asana House.
